Living In Woodridge2

2010 Decennial Census
In 2010, the U.S. Census Bureau undertook the Decennial Census which is conducted every 10 years.  Every household in Woodridge was visited by a Census representative in order to obtain information related to the number of individuals residing in a home and other related information.  This count is very important, as it helps determine funding support provided by state and federal sources.

The information collected in 2010 provides insights into the age of the Woodridge population and household characteristics.  The outcome of this effort has found the Woodridge population to be 32,971 people, which is an increase of 2,037 over the count conducted in 2000 (which is an increase of 7%).

Below are highlights from the 2010 datasets that are compared to the datasets release after the 2000 Census.  Additional information can be found by accessing the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Fact Finder
